BREAKING NEWS: AESPA'S WINTERA UNDERWENT SURGERY FOR COLLAPSED LUNG

Shockingly, SM Entertainment today (12/04/2024) announced that Aespa member, Winter, officially underwent pneumothorax commonly called collapse lung surgery. The surgery was carried out yesterday, April 11,  and Winter is currently recovering.

Quoted from Soompi, the agency said that the operation was carried out as a precautionary measure because pneumothorax is prone to recurrence.

 "Because (pneumothorax) is a condition that is prone to recurrence, (surgery) was carried out as a precautionary measure under the doctor's opinion, and the decision was taken after much discussion," said SM Entertainment

SM Entertainment confirmed that, despite undergoing surgery, their main priority is Winter's recovery status. This is said considering Winter's participation in Aespa's busy schedule in the future, such as a comeback in May and the World Tour which will start in June.

Information regarding the conditions of Winter's recovery and Aespa's upcoming activities will continue to be updated by SM Entertainment. NINGNING ABSENT DURING INKIGAYO'S K-WAVE CONCERT, SM ENTERTAINMENT PRIORITIZES NINGNING'S HEALTH

Ningning AESPA AESPA performed without Ningning at Inkigayo's K-Wave Concert broadcast on Sunday (2/6/2024) yesterday.
