Aespa Collaborate with Korean-American Producer for Rebel Moon 2!

K-Pop girl group Aespa will once again be featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming Netflix sci-fi film "Rebel Moon - Part 2: The Scargiver," SM Entertainment announced on March 20, 2024. The song, titled "Die Trying," will be part of a special EP titled "Songs of the Rebellion" scheduled for release on April 5, 2024, two weeks ahead of the film's premiere on April 19th. 

This marks Aespa's second collaboration with the "Rebel Moon" franchise. Their previous song, "Next Level," was featured on the soundtrack for the first film, "Rebel Moon - Part 1: A Child of Fire," released in late 2023. 

According to Rolling Stone, "Die Trying" is inspired by the character Nemesis, played by South Korean actress Bae Doona. Korean-American music producer Tokimonsta collaborated with Aespa on the song, expressing his excitement about working with the group. "Being able to collaborate with K-pop artist Aespa is an extraordinary thing, especially as a Korean-American," Tokimonsta stated. 

The release of "Die Trying" and "Songs of the Rebellion" is expected to generate excitement among Aespa's fanbase, MYs, and fans of the science fiction genre. Aespa's continued involvement with "Rebel Moon" highlights their growing international recognition and talent.

BREAKING NEWS: AESPA'S WINTERA UNDERWENT SURGERY FOR COLLAPSED LUNG

Shockingly, SM Entertainment today (12/04/2024) announced that Aespa member, Winter, officially underwent pneumothorax commonly called collapse lung surgery. The surgery was carried out yesterday, April 11,  and Winter is currently recovering.
